I am satisfied with my race today in the Paris-Roubaix. If I had been able to complete my preparation in the way I intended I could probably have had more of a say at the finish. It would have been a race for me.

But when the energy is missing you can do nothing about it. That's how it was when Tom Boonen launched the crucial attack around 50 km before the end of the 259 km race. After that I tried together with two colleagues to pick up the chase.

But in my condition at the time it became more and more difficult. In the end I was totally debilitated.

The last 20 km were torture. In the end I came in seven minutes behind the winner Boonen and finished in 49th place.

Now I'm going to take a break and after that I'll prepare for the Giro d'Italia. I hope you have nice Easter Sunday. Fabian.
